Strategies for Effective Investigation & Prosecution of Child Exploitation Cases

This event will be September 14-16, 2010 at Carter Caves State Resort Park in Olive Hill, Kentucky.  This training event addresses the issues of Crimes against Children and Internet Child predators.  This training provides strategies and techniques on how to investigate and successfully prosecute these types of crimes.  The target audience is Law Enforcement, Prosecutors, victim advocates and social workers. There is no registration fee for this training.  This training is KLEC approved and provides 24 hours credit upon successful completion for Law Enforcement.

KENTUCKY DIVISION OF EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT

Incident Management Team Course

This course is designed to train command staff positions to function as qualified regional incident management teams who are able to assist in the management of large or highly complex all hazard incidents.  The focus of the course is to better prepare team members to address the unique and challenging management needs associated with these kinds of incidents. 

EMA needs Law Enforcement command personnel to be part of the reginal incident management teams (IMT).  Students must have completed ICS 300 and ICS 400.

MEALS and LODGING will be provided by the Kentucky Division of Emergency Managment.  Each Participant will be responsible for making his/her own travel arrangements.
